completed prologue

I've changed a few parts to make it more exciting. Here is the finished prologue:

The night was dark as Will crept through the underbrush towards the hut… a sudden movement caught his eye and he quickly moved his hand to the knife fastened to his belt and pulled it free. He looked in the direction of the path showing the way towards the hut and saw a figure in a dark cloak, leading a horse along it. The figure cautiously knocked on the door.

“Who is it?” a voice whispered.

“Erador,” he responded quietly.

The door opened.

“Do you have news?” a man at the door said.

“Yes I do…but you must have known that when I came knocking on your door in the middle of the night,” replied Erador and he casually looked around in the direction of the cluster of bushes in which Will was crouching and Will ducked as Erador’s eyes looked closely at the spot where Will had just moved from and then his attention turned back to his friend and they launched in to a conversation.

Will strained to hear what they where saying from where he was hiding in the clump of bushes, but the two men were now speaking in a language he could not understand. It was as if they knew he was there and they were choosing to explain as little as possible, but that couldn’t be right. The men walked inside and the door closed. Will cautiously slid the knife back in to the pouch at his belt, he really needed to be more careful because he had nearly been spotted. He started to move towards the hut slowly and then a feeling made him stop, he heard a noise and froze then moved back to his original position but not fast enough. A hand snaked towards him then grabbed his collar and lifted him off his feet...

Oh my gosh Charlie, i can't breathe!!!
Who are the two men??
What were they conversing about?
How did Erador know will was there??
Who is Erador??
What secrets are everyone hiding?
Can Will escape from the clutches of the unknown kidnapper?

As I told you, it would be absolutely, totally, and in all other ways inconceivable. No one in Guilder knows what we've done, and no one in Florin could have gotten here so fast - out of curiosity, why do you ask?

I can't wait to get into Chapter One...

Hey bravo charlie, this is uniform november charles golf ... as Ratty says, "There is NOTHING--absolutely nothing--half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats."

The story looks like it's going places ... is it writing itself as you go along, or do you have secret plans we don't know about ? Sorry, perhaps even that is classified information ...

Best wishes for your blog mate, can't wait to see what you post next ...
